Best Car Lease Deals

Honda Civic Hatchback

Honda Civic
  • Monthly Payment: $219 for 36 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $2,799
  • Effective Cost: $297/month
  • MSRP: $25,115
  • Mileage Allowance: 10k miles/year

A smart upgrade. The 2022 Civic hatchback may have a higher MSRP than the sedan, but it’s a much better deal when you lease. The effective cost of the LX sedan comes out to $291/month. For just $4 more, you could step up to an LX hatchback. But we think there’s a better deal.

The effective cost of the better-equipped Civic Sport hatchback is $297, just $6 more than the cheapest sedan. That’s a bargain considering the roughly $2,400 difference in MSRP. Here, a higher residual value makes the Civic 5-door a better value. Customize Your Civic Lease »Hyundai Sonata

Hyundai Sonata
  • Monthly Payment: $169 for 36 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $2,899
  • Effective Cost: $250/month
  • MSRP: $24,955
  • Mileage Allowance: 10k miles/year

Midsize car on the cheap. The 2021 Hyundai Sonata remains the cheapest midsize car you can lease. It’s even more affordable than a slew of compact cars, which means you really can get more for your money this holiday season.

Prefer a 2022 Sonata? Hyundai is continuing to offer a Sign & Drive lease starting at $269 with $0-down. Figures are for Los Angeles but expect to see similar prices in other parts of the country.

Chevy Camaro
  • Monthly Payment: $299 for 39 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $429
  • Effective Cost: $310/month
  • MSRP: $36,790
  • Mileage Allowance: 10k miles/year

V8 costs less than the turbo. It may be hard to believe, but the 2021 Chevy Camaro LT1 V8 is cheaper than you think. That’s because the nearly $37,000 car has a better lease rate and higher residual value than the entry-level Camaro 1LT. This can enable you to get more performance for less cash.

Even though the V8 is $8,600 more expensive on paper than the base-model turbo coupe, the 1LT manages to be cheaper to lease when you compare effective lease costs ($310 vs. $336). Both deals reflect a $1,500 bonus for coming from another lease.

Best SUV Lease Deals

Chevrolet Blazer

Chevy Blazer
  • Monthly Payment: $229 for 36 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $3,629
  • Effective Cost: $330/month
  • MSRP: $35,095
  • Mileage Allowance: 10k miles/year

Get a free vehicle upgrade. An unusually good combination of discounts helps make the 2021 Chevy Blazer 2LT V6 a spectacular upgrade from the entry-level turbo. Despite being $1,300 more expensive when comparing MSRPs, the V6 has the same effective cost as the 4-cylinder turbo.

While this pricing does reflect a $1,500 discount for GM and non-GM lessees, it could equate to a free car upgrade. Note that this month’s pricing includes a $500 Cyber Cash incentive that you’ll have to register for directly with Chevy online.

Nissan Pathfinder
  • Monthly Payment: $319 for 36 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $3,179
  • Effective Cost: $407/month
  • MSRP: $37,130
  • Annual Mileage: 10,000 miles/year

Price cut. The redesigned Nissan Pathfinder features some impressive lease deals in some parts of the country. Here in California, the all-wheel-drive Pathfinder S has an effective cost of just $407/month. That’s only slightly more than Nissan’s best lease on the Murano S ($394).

We consider this a potential upgrade from the Nissan Rogue, too. For example, the Rogue S has an effective cost of $371. Considering the Pathfinder’s MSRP is nearly $8,000 more expensive, value-oriented shoppers may find it a considerably better deal.

Best Luxury Car Lease Deals

Acura TLX

Acura TLX
  • Monthly Payment: $319 for 36 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $3,199
  • Effective Cost: $408/month
  • MSRP: $38,545
  • Mileage Allowance: 10k miles/year

Reason to switch. Acura is offering a $2,500 incentive to customers coming from another Acura or a competing brand. As a result, the 2021 Acura TLX 2.0T can have an effective cost as low as $408/month. To put that into perspective, this month’s Lexus IS lease comes in at $570.

Best Luxury SUV Lease Deals

Buick Encore GX

Buick Encore GX
  • Monthly Payment: $219 for 39 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $1,489
  • Effective Cost: $257/month
  • MSRP: $25,395
  • Mileage Allowance: 10k miles/year

Surprisingly affordable. The 2022 Buick Encore GX continues to offer one of the best leases on a luxury SUV. If you’re coming from another Buick or GMC lease, a $2,250 loyalty discount can lower the model’s effective cost to just $257/month. That’s actually cheaper than the lower-priced Buick Encore ($266).

In addition to featuring a better interior and more space, the newer Encore GX is also equipped with the latest technology. Here, those eligible for the additional discount could find upgrading to be a surprisingly affordable way to get more car for their money.

Lexus GX
  • Monthly Payment: $529 for 36 months
  • Amount Due at Signing: $3,999
  • Effective Cost: $640/month
  • MSRP: $58,590
  • Mileage Allowance: 10k miles/year

High residual value. A new lease on the 2021 Lexus GX 460 Premium is worth a look if you’re shopping for a luxury SUV. Thanks to a residual value of 61%, this off-road-capable vehicle can have an effective cost as low as $640/month.

At that price, the GX manages to be cheaper than an all-wheel-drive Acura MDX ($651). When you consider the fact that the MSRP of the GX is over $8,000 more expensive, it’s clearly a way better deal
