hairstyles to wear with a jumpsuit

Suppose you want to know  the best Hairstyles To Wear With A Jumpsuit, then this article is what you need. It contains how to wear a jumpsuit to a wedding. Also, it includes how to style a jumpsuit.

I’m a fan of jumpsuits but I know I’m not alone when wondering at times how to wear a jumpsuit. How to accessorize a jumpsuit, how to wear different styles of jumpsuits, how to wear a jumpsuit for different occasions and figuring out what shoes to wear with a jumpsuit. I’ve always liked how fancy jumpsuits come across and how just one piece can make a complete outfit. They make it easy to dress nice and look stylish! As a dress, it’s one and done. I even love wearing jumpsuits while traveling! My summer travel outfits are made up of bright casual jumpsuits. They are a cinch to style and easy to pack!

But jumpsuits can be a little intimidating and if not worn correctly can look sloppy or make you look shorter or wider than you are. There’s a reason you mainly see black and white jumpsuits. They are easier to wear, and you don’t run the worry of looking like a trendy fool in a crazily printed jumpsuit. With a black or white jumpsuit, you’ll look usually always look stylish and chic. Personally, like with most of my clothing, I opt for the more classic and elegant pieces. I do love the color, print, and different jumpsuit textures but with my petite frame I have to be careful or pieces can swallow me whole.

Let’s review how to wear a jumpsuit and the points you should keep in mind next time you’re putting together a jumpsuit outfit.

Purchasing a jumpsuit that fits your body perfectly is key to looking polished and put together. Don’t wear a jumpsuit that is too tight or too loose.

If you wear a jumpsuit that’s too tight, you might give off that Catwoman vibe, and you might feel uncomfortable. If you wear a jumpsuit that is too loose, you will completely lose your figure, and the jumpsuit will overwhelm your body.

The elegant white jumpsuit I’m wearing in this outfit has a halter style top half, a cinched waist, with a wide leg. It’s not too big or too small, and I’m able to show off my figure by showing the right amount of skin with the halter top and having the accentuated waist.

Nordstrom always has a lot of stylish jumpsuits to shop from. So that is the first place I would recommend you start your search for your perfect jumpsuit.

I have to emphasize the point of not losing your figure. A lot of jumpsuits have either a cloth belt the same color of the jumpsuit or you can easily add your belt to define your waist. Cinching your jumpsuit at the waist is a great way to add some femininity to the look and give you that curvy look.

In this white jumpsuit, I double wrapped the white cloth belt to define my waist. I could have also added gold or black belt to add some dimension, but I wanted to show that you don’t need to look much stylish in a jumpsuit.

You can see in the shopping section below, that most of the jumpsuits I saved have a matching cloth belt.

I like to add dimensions to my outfits! Even though the white jumpsuit could stand alone, I wanted to show you how you can easily add a blazer to give it some personality.

If you’ve never worn a jumpsuit before adding a blazer will make you feel more comfortable than without. It breaks up the look and adds a layer to make the jumpsuit more subtle.

When selecting a blazer or jacket go with one that enhances the jumpsuit and goes with the occasion. This outfit could work for a cocktail party, formal evening dinner or going out to fancy drinks with friends. Consider where you are going to wear your jumpsuit and select a blazer that either brings it up a notch or makes it more casual.

I wanted to create an elegant look with this white jumpsuit, so I selected a black tuxedo like a blazer with split personalities. It’s a tuxedo blazer in the front but looks like a cape from behind.

Pick color tones that are similar to your jumpsuit or contrasting. Like, in this case, I went with a black and white jumpsuit outfit. If you’re wearing a pretty floral jumpsuit you might want to wear a light rose blazer. Just make sure the two items match.

If you’re wondering what shoes to wear with a jumpsuit, always opt for heels! Unless it’s a very casual jumpsuit for the beach. Wearing heels is a style rule I follow because you don’t want to appear short or frumpy. Create the illusion of long and lean by not having the bottom of the jumpsuit bunch up. If I were to wear this wide-leg jumpsuit with sandals or flats, the bottom half would look pretty sloppy. It would look like I’m wearing a jumpsuit that doesn’t fit, and I would look shorter.

The shoes you wear with wide-leg jumpsuits need to be on the skinny side. Stay away from wedges, clogs, or anything with a thick heel. This is especially true if the fabric light and airy, like in the white jumpsuit I’m wearing.

If you’re a jumpsuit virgin ease into it and wear a solid black, navy, forest, or a dark-colored jumpsuit. If you’re a little daring, opt for a jumpsuit with a small print, like polka dots, or a bright color!

In these summer travel outfits, I wore a polka dot jumpsuit, bright pink jumpsuit, and a bright yellow polka dot jumpsuit. Those are some jumpsuit outfit examples on the other end of the spectrum, casual and fun for summer.

But Black is always a slimming choice!

A solid jumpsuit is elongating since it’s one unbroken vertical line the eye moves easily up and down without interruption.

Once you feel comfortable in a black or white jumpsuit experiment by adding some pattern or splashes of color.

A jumpsuit can easily be dressed up for a formal event. If the style of the jumpsuit is appropriate, then all you have to do is accessorize it to fit the party. Think a black or white formal jumpsuit.

The jumpsuit I’m wearing in this outfit is a feminine and elegant white jumpsuit with a pleated halter. Since it’s more classy in style, I easily dressed it up with heels, black tuxedo blazer, gold accessories, and a dainty handbag. I also wore my hair is a fancy bun to go with the style of the outfit. You could also opt to wear a braided updo! I love fancy braid hairstyles because they look fancy, your hair stays in place, and it’s a little extra that levels up your entire look. I can easily wear this to a formal event and fit the dress code.

Here is another fun fact! I wore a white jumpsuit for my civil ceremony in San Francisco! I said I do in a beautiful and elegant white jumpsuit! For my civil ceremony, I paired the white jumpsuit with navy Badgley Mischka heels (the same ones I wore my Dream Wedding in Paris) a sparkly belt, sparkly earrings, and infinity Tiffany necklace. This is an example that you can wear a jumpsuit for a civil wedding and look very stylish.

When shopping for a jumpsuit there are a few things to keep-in-mind. A pant jumpsuit is incredibly chic, comfortable and easy to wear.

Get the right length. You don’t want to be tripping over yourself or ruin the jumpsuit. Buy a length that is appropriate with heels or flats. If you’re going to wear a jumpsuit mainly with heels make sure to wear heels when going shopping so you know the length is perfect or that you’ll get it hemmed. This pre-purchase test makes it easier to know how the jumpsuit outfit will come together instead of waiting until you get home and the same thing goes for pairing the jumpsuit with flats.

If this is your first jumpsuit purchase one in a solid color. Here I went with the super safe black because I want to be able to wear it over and over and all year around. Also, a solid color lengthens your body and is oh so flattering. If you absolutely have to wear a pattern go for something subtle.

If you’re going to invest in only one jumpsuit make sure it works for every season. The jumpsuit I’m wearing in this post is sleeveless and has a V neckline so it’s ideal year round. I can wear it like this during the spring and summer then simply throw on a colored moto jacket when it gets chilly.

Go formal! If you don’t think you will get much use out of your jumpsuit on the casual weekends in the park than get something that can be dressed up. Select a formal color and a silhouette that looks stylish with some statement accessories.

The last point I need to mention is, make sure it fits! Not too short or too long, not too tight or too loose. The perfect jumpsuit needs to be flattering and you need to feel fabulous every time you put it on!

How to Maintain Healthy Hair: A Few Basic Tips

1. It’s normal to lose 100 to 150 strands of hair a day so don’t panic when you see a small bunch crawling across your tiled floor.

2. Comb wet hair with extreme care because they’re fragile and prone to breakage. Take a broad toothed comb and run it from the roots to the ends of your hair as gently as possible.kuc9sfk8Be careful while combing your hair. Use a wide-toothed comb after shampoo.

3. Trim your hair every few weeks to get rid of those brown and rough split ends. Cut about 1/4th an inch of your hair every 6 to 8 weeks to avoid the split ends to grow out again.

4. Don’t wash your hair everyday and whenever you do, apply some conditioner on the ends. Try and use the same brand of shampoo and conditioner.

5. Rinse the conditioner off with cold water as it is good for both strength and care productsIt is important to condition your hair frequently.

6. Unlike the labels on the back of our food items, the labels on the back of our shampoos are mostly left unread. In the last few years, there has been a lot of focus on sulfate in shampoos. What are sulfates? They’re the reason your shampoo lathers the way it does. They clean your scalp and hair, departing the dirt from it. But some researchers also suggest that they strip your hair of essential oils. They’re also why your eye stings when shampoo runs down the side of your face. If you feel any kind of irritation on the scalp or find your hair drying up over time then try and buy a shampoo that’s sulfate-free.

7. If you’ve got dry hair then it’s best to avoid colouring. However, if you can’t resist that gorgeous shade of brown, especially under the winter sun then follow this clever advise shared on the blog Free People. Use lemon, chamomile tea or honey as they work as great hair lighteners. You can add lemon juice to water and spray it over your hair when you’re heading out. You can rinse your hair with brewed chamomile tea after you wash them with shampoo or add honey to the water you use to wash your hair.

Besides these basic tips, here are few home-remedies that’ll take you a long way. From home-made masks to heat protecting serums, we’ve got it all.

Deep Conditioning

Even though you condition your hair after every wash, nothing quite works as good as deep conditioning. Every once in a while wash your hair with shampoo, squeeze out the extra water and towel dry it. Then take generous amounts of conditioner and apply it right to the root of your hair. Use a broad toothed comb and run it through your hair to make sure the conditioner reaches everywhere. Now, pull them up and clip them together. Leave the conditioner in for anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour. Pull them down, rinse thoroughly and enjoy silky smooth hair.(Also see: Home Remedies for Quick Hair Growth)

Keep Away the Heat

If you’re stepping out and want gorgeous curls or perfect waves, then there are a few ways you can get those without taking the help of a dryer, straightener or curler. If you must use your iron or curler then buy a serum of your choice or if you’ve got some time on your hands, make one at home.

1. Take some almond oil, coconut oil, hair conditioner, 250 ml water and a small empty spray bottle. Pour 200 ml of water in the spray bottle and add 2-3 drops of coconut and 4 to 5 almond oil to it. Add two really tiny drops of conditioner. Don’t use too much of it because it will lather. You can add lavender or some nice smelling oil if you’d like. Add the remaining water and shake well. Let the lather settle and it’s ready for use. (as suggested by beautytips4her)5jhp0uk8Coconut oil is a great ingredient to rejuvenate your hair.

2. It’s all about butter with this one. Take 4 ounces of shea butter, 4 ounces of cocoa butter and 20 drops of any essential oil of your choice. Heat the butter till it’s all liquid and let it cool. Add the essential oil to an empty, sterilized jar and pour the butter. Let the jar cool down till the butter takes a solid form again.

Home-Made Hair Masks

Some might be delicious enough to eat but the rest are just downright smelly! But the great thing is that you’ll easily find all of the ingredients in your pantry.

1. Egg, curd and mustard oil – If you’ve got hay-like dry hair then here’s the answer to all of your problems. Eggs are rich in vitamin A, B12, D and E, fatty acids and protein. The protein helps strengthen the roots, the fatty acids make it a natural hair conditioner and B12 helps add volume.

2. Avocado and peppermint oil (as suggested by – Also referred to as the butter pear, avocados are creamy, rich and the only fruit combines the protein of meat, fat of butter, vitamins and minerals of green vegetables and a nutty flavour. Mash some avocado, add a drop or two of peppermint oil and apply this mask on your hair. Leave it in for 15-20 minutes and wash off.

3. Olive oil, coconut oil and egg – Suggested by Bella Fitness blog, this one’s the ultimate mask for speedy hair growth. Warm 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, let it cool, add one or two eggs and two tablespoons of olive oil and apply.a76lefgoDIY Hair masks can come to your rescue for shiny, smooth and silky hair.

Oil is the Answer

A conditioner might work wonders for your hair but oil gives it certain minerals, vitamins and essential fatty acids that don’t just strengthen your roots but also boost overall health of your hair. Coconut oil comes most recommended by hair experts and mothers! It can protect your hair from sun damage, dandruff and removes sebum build-up from hair follicles accelerating hair growth. You could also boil some curry leaves in coconut oil, strain the oil and apply. You could also use Chinese hibiscus flowers instead of curry leaves.

If you’re suffering from hair fall then olive oil would be a better bet. You can combine it with a host of other ingredients. Here are our top few:

1. Olive oil with honey and cinnamon powder (as suggested by the American Athletic Institute) – Massage this paste into your scalp, leave for 15 minutes and wash.

2. The LOC method – Suggested by Nicole Charnel on Charnels, this one’s a real winner. It’s a three part method: leave in, oil and cream. First you use some water and then use a light weight oil like coconut, olive or almond. Follow this with shea butter or any creamy conditioner of your choice. Leave it in for a while and then wash thoroughly.
