Combining the benefits of overalls and black color
Black color always attracts attention. A black jumpsuit symbolizes elegance, femininity and chic. Let’s start with the fact that black jumpsuit goes to almost everyone, no matter what your hair color, body type and skin color, black color does not go out of fashion. This is the color of classic outfits, which we mercilessly exploit to create a strict or mysterious image, and to emphasize slender forms, even if those are far from ideal, we wear dresses of this color both for everyday wear and for celebration.
Combining the benefits of overalls and black color results in a stylish, fashionable, and versatile item. It will help out in many situations and is suitable for any event. The main issue to focus on is choosing a suitable style.
One of the most fashionable trends in recent years in women’s wardrobe are overalls. Some hesitate to wear it, some find it uncomfortable, and some just postpone her purchase for later. You can bring a lot of arguments for and against, but, there is an indisputable advantage: it sits perfectly on the figure, hiding all the flaws and highlighting all the dignity.
On the other hand, Black and gold are friends forever!
Accessory Colors and Styles
White accessories will always look amazing! A pearl necklace with the same bracelet and exquisite open-toed white shoes is the perfect solution for any occasion.
Black strapless jumpsuit, secured at the waist with a brown leather belt, looks cool with high-heeled shoes, black glasses, classic make-up, and shiny nail art.
A black high-neck jumpsuit will create a classic style, with black high-heeled shoes and a gold bracelet.
If you want to create a romantic style, add a belt, glasses, ring, shoes and fuchsia jewelry to your strapless jumpsuit.
Try to experiment! And then the black jumpsuit will be -for you- the most favorite thing in the wardrobe.
The luxury and style of black jumpsuit is used by girls for various events: corporate party, anniversary, business dinner, date, a walk in the park and much more. Depending on the upcoming release, the appropriate style and accessories will just complement the image.
With a black jumpsuit, a very plastic thing to create is new bows. In each combination it is different. When complemented by the appropriate shoes, handbag, accessories and a fashionable jacket, you are able to make its mistress a stylish icon in front of friends and colleagues. The effect of a little black dress works in this case too. Such a jumpsuit is a basic piece of clothing for performing various tasks assigned to it.
The classic combination with a white top will work well. A light blouse of strict cut or with romantic elements will perfectly complement the image. For ceremonial exits it requires decorations and accessories, for example, from precious metals, you can use bright jewelry.
Black jumpsuit will look good in combination with different colors. Here, the main thing is that the shade is “pure”, not washed out, or saturated.
The appearance of the suit should fit your image.
Remember that darker shades are slim, making the figure more elegant and taut. Light outfits make the image more fresh and tender. Also, try to choose an outfit for your type of appearance. Cold colors are better combined with a cold type of appearance, and pastel shades with a warm one.
Evening wear rarely goes without additional accessories and elegant shoes. Stylists recommend wearing overalls with high heels or platform shoes to make legs longer. Models with shortened legs for tall girls can be combined with elegant ballet flats in classic colors.
A properly selected bag will also make the image more stylish and harmonious. The best option for evening bow is a small clutch. It is desirable that it has a contrasting color. In addition, such a clutch can serve as a bright accent in the image.
Interesting accessories will help to complete the look. If you want to focus on a thin waist, complement the jumpsuit with a thin strap or a wide belt. The dress with a neckline can be complemented with a beautiful pendant, and an open-over jumpsuit with bracelets. However, do not overload the bow with a large number of accessories, because the line between the stylish and the tasteless is very thin.
Accessories for overalls
Accessories for overalls: You can pick up the contrast. For example, shoes or a bag in a set with a monotonous calm version of the jumpsuit can be bright, with different prints.
Decorations with rhinestones or sequins are quite acceptable for evening options, as long as there are no too many of them.
Going to a party, you no longer have to spend a lot of time to make an image of a skirt or pants and top. You just need to wear a jumpsuit and pick up accessories! To create a brutal and sexy bow in the style of dominatrix, choose jewelry with a metal decor: a leather bracelet with chrome-plated steel beads, a chain with a heart pendant or a massive cross made of silver and enamel, platform shoes and a 13-inch centimeter with an open toe and metal ” spikes. ” To complete the image and make it playful, a clutch bag made of genuine leather with an animal pattern will help.
You are convinced that a spectacular jumpsuit leaves a wide scope for your imagination. Experiment and conquer those around you with your stylish and practical looks!
I think one of the most important things to consider when you’re looking to make a purchase is: how much use can I get out of this? I hate when I buy something I love and then realize I can only wear it with, like, one thing in my closet. I get so bored with a clothing item when I find I can only style it one way! I’m forever on the hunt for pieces that can be re-styled and remixed, maximizing its value in my wardrobe.
I think this is especially helpful when you’re trying to pack for a trip. Include pieces that work together and can be re-styled for maximum outfits.
I’ve had this awesome black jumpsuit for almost a year. (You may recognize the last outfit from a previous blog post!) I actually wore it to Savannah’s rehearsal dinner and loved how versatile it is.
It’s very flattering, comfortable and looks good styled a variety of ways. I’ve kept it in my closet all this time, pulling it out occasionally for various events. I’ve dressed it up and dressed it down.
While browsing online the other day, I discovered they had BROUGHT IT BACK!! It is now back in stock and I am PSYCHED! I had gotten so many questions about it when I initially posted it last year and it sold out a few times. It’s a great piece at a fantastic price.
To show you just how versatile it is, I wanted to share 3 ways you could style a black jumpsuit to give you a little outfit inspiration!

how to fix sandals that are too big
Do you live somewhere that has distinct seasons? If so, you might find yourself counting down the days until sandal season each year. Slipping into a pair of comfortable walking sandals can be a freeing experience, especially if you’ve been wearing ankle boots, sneakers, or other closed-toe styles all winter.
Summer is the time to let your feet take a breather. And yet, if your sandals don’t fit right, you’ll be left with chronic discomfort, pain, or other unfortunate foot conditions. Whether you’re busting out the slides, flip flops, and wedge heels from the back of your closet or thinking about shopping for a new pair, proper fit is essential.
HOW SANDALS SHOULD FIT
While it’s important to avoid shoes that are too loose on your feet, there’s a good chance you could stand to go up at least a half size with your sandals. As we mentioned, your whole foot should sit within the sole of your sandals when you stand upright .
Signs your sandals are too small include:
- Your heels protrude over the back
- Any of your toes extend or hang over the front
- Your toes extend or hang over the soles on either side
- The straps dig into your heels, toes, or any other part of your foot
- You have the straps adjusted to the largest setting
- You get blisters, calluses, ingrown toenails, or heel spurs
- Your feet hurt during or after wearing them
Of course, loose-fitting shoes can cause a number of foot problems, such as tripping and blisters . But as we noted, this is pretty uncommon with sandals.
How Should Sandals Fit in the Back and Front?
When it comes to sandals and flip flops, the way they fit in the back and front is crucial. If your heels extend past the soles in the back, the straps will likely cut into your skin, which can be painful and restrict circulation. Additionally, a portion of your foot won’t be protected by the sole. The same goes for your toes in the front. Without that added protection, it’s only a matter of time before you injure your toes. If you’re wondering, are flip flops bad for your feet? Well, the answer is yes, if you aren’t wearing flip flops that fit correctly.
At this point, you know the perimeter of your foot shouldn’t go past the sole on any side. However, the space on each side won’t be exactly even all the way around. For example, there might be an eighth of an inch of space around your toes and a quarter inch around your arches. Not only that, but you can expect this to change throughout the day as your feet expand, as you transition from standing to sitting, and overtime as you break in a pair of sandals .
Don’t Fear a Larger Sandal Size
Many assume that wearing a larger shoe size will make their feet look bigger, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. When you cram your feet into sandals that are too small, they can actually appear larger. And believe it or not, the difference between two whole sizes is only about one-third of an inch. Half sizes and whole sizes only differ by roughly one-fifth of an inch in length .
Going up a size (or half a size) with sandals will provide you with adequate wiggle room. Of course, you don’t want too much wiggle room, but that extra third or fifth of an inch will go a long way. You’ll be able to walk around comfortably for hours on end while avoiding foot pain and discomfort.
FINDING YOUR CORRECT SHOE SIZE AND WIDTH
As mentioned, when sandals are too small, the straps can dig into your feet, and you might end up with a stubbed toe, an ingrown toenail, or another painful condition. Conversely, while it may be better to go with a larger pair of sandals, sandals that are way too large present their own list of foot problems. Your feet can slip around in the shoe, which may strain your ankles and calves and impact your posture. Loose shoes can also slide off your feet and cause an injury or rub on your skin, which may lead to blisters and calluses .
That being said, a 2018 study published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research found that wearing shoes that are too small is much more common than wearing a pair that’s too big . To find sandals that are good for your feet and fit correctly, you’ve got to measure your feet.
Measuring Your Feet for Sandals
If you’ve measured your feet in the past or think you know your shoe size, we still suggest measuring every so often. According to the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research, as many as two-thirds of people wear the wrong size . This includes improper shoe length and width, so measuring both is crucial.
When you measure your feet for sandals, we recommend doing so in the evening . This is because feet tend to expand throughout the day, which can often result in different measurements at night than in the morning. Do you ever think your shoes fit better in the morning? This is the reason.
To find your shoe size and width:
- Grab a measuring tape or yardstick, a pen, and a large piece of paper.
- Place the paper on your floor—preferably the flattest area you can find—and step onto it.
- Slowly trace the perimeter of each foot. Bear in mind that when you wear sandals, the entire perimeter should fit inside the sole . To get the right size, make sure you can see the whole outline of each foot when you look down.
- Using your measuring tape or yardstick, carefully measure the length and width of your feet, and record the numbers . (The length is measured from the tip of your longest toe to the edge of your heel, and the width is a straight line between the broadest section of your foot.)
If one of your feet is longer or wider than the other, measure again to make sure. But don’t be alarmed if one is a half size or so larger than the other, as this is very common. To get your current shoe size and width, compare your measurements to a size chart.
Have you been wearing the wrong size? Don’t be too hard on yourself. Moving forward, just be sure to only buy shoes in the proper size, and measure your feet again every few years.
PRIORITIZE COMFORT AND ARCH SUPPORT
While the most important thing is getting the right size and width, you’ll want to find a pair with a comfortable footbed and arch support.
