It’s easy to come to the decision that the Mercedes-Benz brand is right for you, but with so many great models to choose from, some may find it difficult to settle on just one vehicle. Another difficult part of finding the right model is telling the difference between similar models. That’s why we’re pointing out some of the bigger differences between the popular C-Class and CLA-Class.
The most obvious difference between the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class is their sizes. The C-Class offers 2 extra inches in length, which results in an additional 8 inches of legroom for rear passengers. That being said, the CLA-Class offers more in terms of cargo space.
Another major area of difference between the two models is in their power output. The C-Class, namely the C300, offers a more powerful engine than the CLA-Class, offering 241 horsepower over the CLA-Class’s 208 horsepower.
The models also offer significant differences in terms of available interior technology. While the models feature many of the same technologies, you’ll find that more can be found standard on the C-Class, while the CLA-Class requires some upgrading in order to get popular features like Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Power-folding side mirrors, push-button start, etc.
Of course, there are many benefits to opting for the C-Class, however, it comes at a higher price than the CLA-Class. So if you’re on a budget and looking for a more affordable luxury sedan, you may find that the CLA-Class is a more practical choice.
